Perenti secures $275m contract for Fourmile Project in Nevada
The news: Perenti has secured a $275 million underground mining service contract from Nevada-based Barrick Mining’s Fourmile Project, delivered through its subsidiary Barminco.
The context: The 45-month term contract is scheduled to commence in July, enabling Barminco to deliver underground development and ground support services for the twin Bullion Hill portals, which spans an estimated 16km.
What they said: “This supports our strategy to expand operations in tier-one mining jurisdictions and continues our disciplined growth into the North American market with both Barminco and Swick,” Perenti CEO Vanessa Torres said.
