The news: Perpetual has entered discussions with former wealth adviser Daniel Elias, putting a two-day hearing between the two parties before the Supreme Court of New South Wales on hold.
The context: Elias jumped ship to Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in August 2024 when he took up the role of senior vice president.
