Pro Medicus renews $16m contract with Ohio medical centre

The news: Pro Medicus has signed a five-year contract renewal with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) through its wholly owned US subsidiary Visage Imaging, valued at $16 million.
The context: The contract includes providing OSUWMC with its imaging platforms, Visage 7 Workflow and Visage 7 cardiology.
Located in Columbus, OSUWMC has approximately 22,000 staff and 2,000 physicians, operating over 1,400 inpatient beds across six hospitals.
Pro Medicus CEO Sam Hupert said the contract brings the company’s total renewals for the financial year to $141 million, putting it on track to maintain its strong track record of client retention.
What they said: “This underpins our belief that our solution provides unparalleled return on investment from both a financial and a clinical perspective,” Hupert said.
