PWR Holdings founder and MD Kees Weel takes medical leave

The news: Automotive cooling products manufacturer PWR Holdings has advised that its managing director and founder Kees Weel is taking temporary leave from his role to seek treatment for an acute medical condition.

The context: PWR said its executive leadership team will assume Weel's day-to-day responsibilities, with chief technical and commercial officer Matthew Bryson appointed by the board to the role of acting chief executive.

What they said: "While I will remain active in PWR's overall direction, I have advised the board that concentrating on my recovery is my priority," said Keel.
