Quinbrook poaches QIC's Ryan Gordon to lead APAC capital formulation

The news: Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners’ has poached Queensland Investment Corporation's Ryan Gordon to be the investment manager's new managing director and head of capital formation for APAC.

The context: Gordon will replace Rob Kerr in the role at the end of July.

He joins the energy infrastructure specialist after 18 years at Queensland Investment Corporation, where he developed investor and consultant relationships across APAC and the Middle East. He has also previously worked at Goldman Sachs, Bank of New York and NAB.

Quinbrook also announced the appointment of Jonathan Borland as senior director, relationships and fundraising, Europe and Nordics. He moves from DWS Infrastructure, where he was a coverage specialist.

What they said: “As highly experienced professionals in private capital, Ryan and Jonathan will each play an important role in expanding our internal sales and client engagement capabilities,” said Quinbrook co-founder and managing partner David Scaysbrook.
