The news: Gold miner Ramelius Resources has reiterated its FY26 guidance despite reporting a slide in production for the December quarter.

The numbers: Preliminary figures show Ramelius delivered gold production of 45,610 ounces for the three months to 31 December, down from 55,013 ounces in the previous quarter.

However, the miner said it remains on track to meet FY26 guidance of between 185,000 and 205,000 ounces.

The context: Ramelius said the development of its Dalgaranga mine in Western Australia's Murchison region remains on time and on budget, with first ore from the Never Never gold deposit to be delivered to its Mount Magnet processing plant in the March quarter.

What they said: "We continue to build on the strong momentum from our first quarter and remain on track to deliver our FY26 guidance with production year-to-date of 100,623 ounces," said Ramelius' chief operating officer Tim Hewitt.
