REA Group confirms ACCC request for subscriptions information

The news: News Corp-controlled real estate platform REA Group has confirmed that the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has requested information regarding "certain subscription offerings".

The numbers: REA shares were up 1.5% to $254.69 at 3:15pm AEST.

The context: The company, which operates property site realestate.com.au, said it is cooperating fully with the ACCC and is unable to comment further for confidentiality reasons.

The regulator issued REA with a Section 155 Notice, requiring the company to provide further information on the matter.
