Regis Healthcare appoints ex-Ramsay Australia CEO Carmel Monaghan to board

The news: Aged care operator Regis Healthcare has appointed former Ramsay Health Care Australia CEO Carmel Monaghan as an independent non-executive director.
The context: Monaghan, who will join the Regis board on 1 February, led Ramsay's Australian business from October 2020 until her departure last year.
She is currently on the board of ASX-listed EMVision Medical Devices, and previously served on the boards of Ramsay Santé and the Australian Private Hospitals Association.
What they said: "Carmel is a highly credentialed and experienced healthcare executive with deep operational, strategic and board expertise," said Regis chairman Graham Hodges.
"Her leadership at Ramsay Health Care Australia and global roles within the Ramsay Group demonstrate her ability to navigate complex, regulated environments and drive transformation."
