Regis Healthcare to assess financial impact of AN-ACC pricing changes

The news: Aged care operator Regis Healthcare said it is currently assessing the financial impact of pricing changes to the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC), made by the federal government on Friday.
The numbers: The new AN-ACC base price will increase from $282.44 per aged care resident per day to $294.64.
The Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority had recommended an AN-ACC price of $295.64 for the period from 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2026.
The hotelling supplement will also be increased from $15.60 to $22.15 per resident per day from 20 September.
The context: Regis told investors this morning that it will "continue to keep the market informed as further information comes to hand".
AN-ACC is an Australian residential aged care funding model where providers like Regis receive a daily fixed payment and a variable payment based on a resident's AN-ACC classification, which determines their individual care needs.
The increase in AN-ACC is intended to fund wage increases for direct care workers and registered and enrolled nurses.
