The news: Resolute Mining has maintained its FY26 gold production guidance of 250,000 ounces to 275,000 ounces, with a group all in sustaining cost (AISC) range of USD2,000 ($2,798) to USD2,200 per ounce, following the commissioning of the Syama Sulphide Conversion Project.

Earnings before interest and tax surged to USD209.9 million, up from USD104.9 million from the prior quarter.

The numbers: For the three months ended March, Resolute reported gold production of 59,603 ounces, down from 65,918 ounces in the previous quarter.

Capital expenditure rose to USD33.4 million, up from USD28.7 million the prior quarter. Operating cashflow jumped to USD119.8 million, compared to USD85.7 million in the prior period.

Revenue reached USD337.6 million, from USD201.5 million the previous quarter.

The context: Resolute Mining said it remains on track with its production guidance as the Syama Sulphide Conversion Project in Mali is set to increase the mine’s sulphide processing capacity by 60%.

During the quarter, the company reported strong drilling volumes across its Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal sites, contributing to a positive start to 2026.

The company also flagged a potential increase in AISC due to elevated fuel prices, which may impact its operational costs in the coming quarters.
