Santos appoints Lachlan Harris as new CFO

The news: Santos has appointed Lachlan Harris as the new chief financial officer, effective immediately.

The context: Harris has been in the business for 15 years and has held multiple leadership positions. Most recently he served as the deputy chief financial officer and treasurer, and has also previously served as acting chief financial officer.

Harris has been responsible for overseeing Santos' financial stewardship since his appointment as acting chief financial officer in October.
