Sharon AI appoints former Telstra CEO Andy Penn as chair
The news: Nasdaq-listed neocloud Sharon AI has appointed former Telstra CEO Andy Penn as the chair of its board.
The context: The new chair of the ASX hopeful was Telstra CEO between 2015 and 2022 and was previously group chief executive at insurance and financial services company AXA Asia Pacific Holdings between 2006 and 2011.
Penn was previously chair of the expert advisory boards for Australia’s 2020 and 2023 National Cybersecurity Strategies.
He currently sits on the board of Coles and is an adviser to quantum cybersecurity firm QuintessenceLabs, multinational consultancy McKinsey & Company, the Quad Investors Network and US-based telco Glow.
