Tabcorp posts $67m profit in first year after demerger

The news: Gambling company Tabcorp has recorded a statutory net profit after tax of $67 million, in its first annual results since its demerger from the Lottery Corporation in May 2022.

The numbers: Tabcorp earned revenues of $2.4 billion, calculated as 2% up on a pro forma basis. It declared a fully franked final dividend of 1 cent per share. TAH shares were up 6.67% to $1.12 at 1:25pm AEST.

The context: The results came as Tabcorp's chief financial officer Daniel Renshaw announced his departure from the company for personal reasons. Damien Johnston will act as interim CFO from 1 September until a replacement is found.
