The news: Telix Pharmaceuticals has reported a 21% year-on-year increase in group revenue to USD247 million ($352 million) for the second quarter, up from the USD204 million recorded in the prior corresponding period, driven by strong demand across its prostate imaging portfolio, including Gozellix and Illuccix.

The context: Telix CEO Christian Behrenbruch said the business had achieved key regulatory, commercial and clinical milestones across its Precision Medicine and Therapeutics businesses during the period.

The company is tracking in line with the upper end of its targeted full-year revenue guidance and is investing further in research and development.

Telix forecasts full-year revenue and other income to be in excess of USD1 billion, tracking toward the upper end of its previously stated revenue guidance of USD950 million to USD970 million.

Research and development expenditure guidance has been lifted to between USD230 million and USD270 million to support the advancement of its high-value clinical programs.
