The news: Lotteries and Keno games operator The Lottery Corporation has announced a new operating model in a bid to support the next phase of the company’s strategy and growth, effective from 1 July 2026.

The context: Under the changes, the lotteries, digital and keno will operate distinctively from each other to sharpen strategic focus, led by different chief operating officers.

Callum Mulvihill will be appointed as the chief operating officer for the lotteries division, tasked with expanding the core lotteries product portfolio.

Loren Somervile will lead the digital segment, focusing on driving digital lottery sales, while Anthony Moore will be in charge of the Keno division, assigned to expand production and unlock online opportunities.

Separately, Adam Newman will remain as the group’s chief financial officer, with his responsibilities expanded to including oversight of legal, risk, cyber and technology services.

What they said: “We have a strong foundation and our strategy has served the company well, but we can unlock more value. This new structure gives us the clarity and accountability to accelerate our evolution as a digital entertainment company, concentrate on local market growth and make faster, better decisions,” The Lottery Corp CEO Wayne Pickup said.
