Tony O’Neill steps down from Woodside board

The news: Tony O’Neill has formally resigned from his role as a non-executive director of Woodside, effective 1 July.

The context: O’Neill joined the board in June 2024 and has served on Woodside’s audit and risk, sustainability, nominations and governance committees.

Chairman Richard Goyder acknowledged O’Neill’s contributions to the company over the past two years, praising his guidance on Woodside’s sustainability, decarbonisation and operational performance.

What they said: “We appreciate Tony’s leadership and commitment to delivering value for our shareholders, and wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” Goyder said.
