Tuas posts record uplift in interim profit on strong subscription base
The news: Singaporean-based telecommunications firm Tuas Limited, formerly part of a TPG Telecom subsidiary, has reported a record 173% uplift in its statutory net profit after tax to SGD8.2 million ($9.1 million) for the six months ended 31 January 2026.
The numbers: The company posted a 24% increase in revenue to SGD91.9 million, while underlying earnings before interest and tax rose 27% to SGD42.1 million, compared to the prior corresponding period.
Tuas did not declare a dividend for the period.
The context: The company said the solid earnings were supported by growth in subscriber base for both its mobile and broadband division, reflecting improved operational performance and disciplined cost management.
Tuas expects its capital expenditure guidance for FY26 to be in the range of SGD50 million to SGD55 million.
