Ventia renews $405m maintenance contract with Yarra Valley Water

The news: Infrastructure group Ventia Services has renewed its maintenance services contract with Yarra Valley Water for $405 million over nine years, effective from October.
The context: The contract builds on existing water, sewerage and network maintenance services provided since the partnership’s 2015 inception.
Under the extended contract, Ventia will continue to manage maintenance services across the Yarra Valley Water’s southern region.
What they said: “The team has already achieved strong results in customer experience and response times, and as we enter this new phase, we remain focused on transformational asset management and enhanced service delivery,” Ventia CEO Dean Banks said.
