Ventia secures $100m NZ contract from Tuatahi First Fibre
The news: Infrastructure provider Ventia has been awarded a new $100 million contract to deliver another five years of services to New Zealand-based fibre optic infrastructure business Tuatahi First Fibre.
The numbers: The new agreement will commence from 1 July 2025. The two companies have been partnered since 2011.
Shares in Ventia fell 1% to $4.87 at 1:42pm AEST.
The context: Ventia is Tuatahi’s primary service partner for the delivery of fibre build, customer connections and maintenance across New Zealand.
What they said: “Ventia maintains a strong presence in New Zealand and is committed to supporting the country’s digital future as a leading provider of telecommunications and digital infrastructure service,” Ventia’s group chief executive and managing director Dean Banks said.
