The news: Online travel agency Webjet Group has announced that managing director and CEO Katrina Barry has resigned.

The context: Barry served as non-executive director of Webjet from 2022 and commenced as CEO of its B2C business in June 2024 before it demerged as Webjet Group later that year.

Webjet Group said its board will commence a search process for Barry’s successor. Barry will remain with the company until its full-year results announcement in May.

The group also reaffirmed its FY26 guidance, noting that demand is remaining “resilient”, with travellers “increasingly favouring domestic and short-haul destinations across Asia and the Pacific” amid the war in the Middle East.
