WiseTech shares rally on fresh board appointment
More news: WiseTech was one of the top performers on the ASX 200 in early trade after announcing the appointment of Bega and Tabcorp director Raelene Murphy to its board.
WiseTech shares were up 5.5% to $68.82 at 11:10am AEDT, having tumbled around 45% over the last 12 months.

The news: WiseTech has appointed Raelene Murphy to its board as an additional independent non-executive director, effective 1 January 2026.
The context: Murphy currently serves as an independent non-executive director at Bega Cheese and Tabcorp. She was previously a managing director at accounting firm KordaMentha and CEO of Delta Group, after holding senior executive roles at Mars Group.
WiseTech said its board is continuing to consider additional director candidates with a view to appointing "one or more" additional independent non-executive directors in the future.
Four of WiseTech’s six-person board resigned in February over founder Richard White’s continued involvement with the business.
In March, WiseTech announced the addition of Chris Charlton and Andrew Harrison to the board. In June, the company appointed Sandra Hook and Rob Castaneda to the board, and announced the departure of long-servicing directors Charles Gibbon and Michael Gregg.
