WiseTech shares dive as director exits
More news: Shares in WiseTech dipped in morning trade on the ASX, after the freight software provider announced the departure of Teresa Engelhard from its board.
WiseTech shares were down 5.77% to $89.49 by 11:06am AEDT.
WiseTech director Teresa Engelhard retires from board
The news: Teresa Engelhard has retired from WiseTech's board, having served as independent non-executive director for the freight software provider since 2018.
The numbers: Engelhard joined Sydney-based WiseTech as a director over six years ago, after board roles at Origin Energy, Planet Innovation, and Redbubble.
The context: WiseTech said that Engelhard has retired from its board to focus on personal business interests, effective from 8 April.
The company previously announced a "board evolution" process, which saw Lisa Brock and Fiona Pak-Poy join the board on 1 February, and Richard Dammery replace Andrew Harrison as chair on 1 April.
What they said: Dammery said: "Teresa has brought valuable insights and a global perspective. During her tenure, WiseTech has grown tremendously and moved closer to its vision to be the operating system for global logistics."
