WiseTech ‘not aware of any investigation’ as Richard White denies allegations

The news: WiseTech has told the ASX it is not aware of any investigation regarding media reports on Monday that indicated the Australian Federal Police is investigating founder and executive chairman Richard White.
The context: The company said the claims, which included allegations of exploitation of an individual’s immigration status and financial situation, relate only to White’s personal capacity and do not involve the company in any capacity.
White has denied the claims.

What they said: “The company is not aware of any investigation as outline in the [media article],” WiseTech said in an ASX announcement.
“The executive chair has provided assurance to the board that he is not aware of any such investigation and also confirmed that he emphatically and unequivocally denies any involvement in or with human trafficking”.
