WiseTech’s Richard White joins Tech Council board
The news: The Tech Council of Australia (TCA) has appointed WiseTech CEO Richard White and PEXA Group Chief Technology Officer Eglantine Etiemble to its board of directors.
The numbers: White and Etiemble were appointed at the TCA’s annual general meeting on Wednesday. Afterpay co-founder Anthony Eisen was also reappointed to the board, while TCA CEO Damian Kassabgi and former NSW minister Victor Dominello were also ratified as directors.
The context: The Tech Council is the peak industry body advocating for Australia’s tech sector, with over 160 members. TCA Chair Robyn Denholm said both new directors’ understanding of the digital economy and their strategic vision will significantly contribute to the TCA's efforts in shaping Australia's technological landscape.
White has driven the growth of logistics software giant WiseTech as its founder and CEO, while Etiemble has been a versatile global executive, having led Dulux Group’s IT and digital team before joining PEXA as CTO in 2022.
