The news: Worley has secured a five-year contract with Saudi Arabia’s Aramco, joining a pool of 11 contractors to support its energy infrastructure and boost the Kingdom’s chemical and resources supply.

The context: Under the agreement, Worley will provide project management consultancy services spanning engineering, design and procurement support while embedding technical expertise into Saudi Amarco’s capital program, which makes up one of the largest sources of project investment globally.

Worley noted that the agreement requires the engineering group to deploy its digital capabilities, including artificial intelligence, robotics and virtual reality to enhance operational efficiency and reinforce information security standards.

What they said: “We are pleased to continue our relationship with Aramco of more than 50 years through this agreement,” Worley CEO Chris Ashton said.

“This framework agreement reflects our capability to provide integrated engineering and project management services across global portfolio,” he added.
