Worley shares drop as CFO Tiernan O'Rourke retires
The news: Engineering group Worley has announced the retirement of its chief financial officer Tiernan O'Rourke.
The numbers: O'Rourke joined Worley as CFO in November 2021 after eight years as finance chief at property developer Stockland.
He will be replaced by deputy CFO Justine Travers on 1 July and will remain with Worley until 26 September to support the transition.
Travers joined Worley in February last year after six years at Newcrest Mining and more than 14 years at Shell.
Worley shares were down 2.2% to $14.58 at 2:20pm AEDT after sinking in response to the announcement of O'Rourke's retirement.
The context: Worley said O'Rourke is retiring from full-time work in ASX listed companies, with the intention of taking on advisory and consulting activities in the private sector.
