And so the defamation dance between barrister Sue Chrysanthou SC and actor/director Rebel Wilson in the Federal Court pivoted again, from a smooth foxtrot to a dramatic bolero.
Wilson’s barrister, Dauid Sibtain SC, tried to intervene, but Wilson got in first: “That is absolutely outrageous.”
Maybe. But defamation trials have a theatrical side that veers into pantomime, and Chrysanthou v Wilson did not let the audience down.
