After announcing on Truth Social that he would impose 100% tariffs on foreign-made pharmaceuticals from 1 October, the headlines quickly warned the move would “have severe impacts” on $2.2 billion worth of Australian exports to the US.
By midday, however, it was becoming clear the actual outcome may not be especially catastrophic.
