We’ll admit Joel Thickins is not the only one getting a bit weary of his whole saga, but credit where it’s due. Even staring down a conviction and with TPG weighing whether he keeps the top Australian and regional job, its man kept things light in court.
Thickins reportedly assured his lawyer, after a stranger clocked his fragrance, that reeking of cologne beat "smelling like fear”. Still, we’ll all be watching for TPG’s verdict on the "broader path forward”.

Shares in Rett syndrome drug developer Neuren Pharmaceuticals rose Tuesday for a second straight session, extending a rally that began Monday with a 36.1% surge. The gains followed the European Medicines Agency’s decision to reverse its earlier position and recommend EU authorisation of Neuren’s drug Daybue.
