In his first major speech since seizing the opposition leadership, Angus Taylor cast himself as the natural heir to the man sitting in the front row.
“He’s obviously someone who is a real role model,” Taylor told the Centre for Independent Studies (CIS) on Monday, as former prime minister John Howard looked on.
