Linktree acquires Melbourne startup Fingertip in latest local buyout
The move by the 'link in bio' unicorn follows a flurry of recent acquisitions.
Social media unicorn Linktree has acquired Melbourne startup Fingertip in its latest buyout of an emerging local rival, Capital Brief can reveal.
The ‘link in bio’ company will absorb Fingertip’s five-person team, including co-founders Olly Hoffman and Matthew Blode. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Since launching last year, Fingertip has built a platform to help freelancers, creators, and small businesses manage and grow their work online. It allows users to create a personalised landing page that can include features like booking systems, invoicing and newsletter subscriptions.
Users can create content “blocks” including Spotify playlists, Instagram feeds, and e-commerce product links to their page.
