The release: Mid-Year Economic and Fiscal Outlook (MYEFO) 2025-26
When: Wednesday 17 December 2025
What we know: The federal government has already released some details about MYEFO ahead of time.
This includes a doubling in forecasted business investment for 2025-26 to 3%, from 1.5%, but a steady 1.5% forecast for 2026-27. Non-mining business investment forecasts were hiked to 4% from 1% for 2025-26 and 2%, up from 1%, in the following year.
