Sharesies has emerged as a significant player in the online investment market, with 700,000 users across Australia and New Zealand and $3.4 billion in funds under management.

700,000 investors using the platform to build their long-term wealth. The platform gives investors access to over 10,000 companies and funds across the US, AU, and NZ markets with no minimum investment – and has over $3.4 billion AUD in total funds under management.

Co-founded in Wellington in 2017 with the mission to improve access to investing and create financial empowerment for all, Sharesies has been steadily growing its Australian presence since 2021.

Capital Brief sat down with co-founder and co-CEO Sonya Williams ahead of her Melbourne visit to discuss how the wealth platform is making investing more accessible and engaging for everyday investors.
