CSL strategy chief Ken Lim to replace Joy Linton as CFO
The news: CSL chief financial officer Joy Linton will step down from the role on 7 October, when she will be replaced by chief strategy officer Ken Lim.
The context: Linton will remain with the company to support a smooth transition period before she retires. She was named as CSL’s chief financial officer in October 2020 and formerly served in the same role at health insurer Bupa.
Lim has been CSL’s chief strategy officer for the last two years and has been with the biopharmaceutical company since 2013. He has also previously served as CSL Seqirus’ head of strategy and finance.
What they said: “Ken’s appointment is a reflection of the depth of executive talent at the company,” CSL CEO and managing director Paul McKenzie said.
“He has more than a decade of experience in senior executive roles at CSL and will bring strategic thinking and a wealth of knowledge to the CFO role.”
