Culture Amp CEO and founder Didier Elzinga steps down
The news: Culture Amp's chief executive Didier Elzinga has stepped down from the employee experience startup he founded in 2009 and will transition to the role of executive chair.
The company's chief financial and operational officer Caroline Rawlinson will replace Elzinga, effective today.
The context: Elzinga's new role will focus on long-term strategy, major partnerships and the company's AI product vision.
Rawlinson joined Culture Amp 12 months ago and prior to this held executive roles at business management platform MYOB, online marketplace Trade Me, and ASX-listed construction company Fletcher Building.
What they said: "A year ago, we hired Caroline as CFO and COO," Elzinga said in a LinkedIn post.
"Within weeks, I knew we’d hired someone capable of much more. She has the operational excellence, strategic clarity, and leadership presence to take Culture Amp to its next chapter, and she’s already proven it.
"Double-digit revenue growth, cash flow positive, and an AI platform that’s fundamentally changing how our customers work.
"This transition gives me the freedom to focus on what I believe will be the most profound shift in our lifetime: AI’s impact on culture, performance, and the future of work. Our customers, the CHROs [chief human resources officers] navigating this transition, want guidance and strategic vision, and that’s where I will continue to focus my energy at Culture Amp going forward."
