The news: Counter-drone technology company DroneShield has reported a 94% jump in year-on-year revenue for the December quarter, after securing a raft of new contracts over the three-month period.

The numbers: DroneShield recorded Q4 revenue of $51.3 million, up from $26.4 million in the prior corresponding period, though down from the $92.9 million in the previous quarter.

The company also noted that it had $95.6 million in committed revenue for 2026, compared to "negligible" committed revenue this time last year.

Operating cashflow swung to $7.7 million from an $8.9 million loss in Q4 2024.

The context: DroneShield said the result was supported by a number of new contracts signed during the quarter, including a $50 million military contract in Europe. The company also announced contracts in Latin America and Asia Pacific, and launched a new R&D facility in South Australia.
