Endeavour Group poaches Woolworths exec Jeanette Fenske as new BWS boss

The news: Drinks company Endeavour Group has tapped Woolworths executive Jeanette Fenske as its new managing director of BWS.
The numbers: Fenske is currently director of stores at Woolworths Supermarkets, where she is responsible for 130,000 team members across 1,100 stores nationally.
She has previously held senior leadership positions with South African retail business Clicks Group.
Fenske will join Endeavour Group in the new year, following the departure of Scott Davidson who announced his intention to stand down as BWS managing director in June.
What they said: "She is a seasoned retail operator who joined Woolworths almost 10 years ago as assistant state general manager, before being promoted to lead the eCommerce online operations and last mile business in Woolies X," said Endeavour Group's interim CEO Kate Beattie.
"With a strong retail background and experience in leading transformational change, Jeanette is well placed to lead BWS through its next phase of growth."
