Ex-MA Financial investment banker Ron Levi joins Skip Capital

The news: Former MA Financial Group investment banking vice president Ron Levi has joined Atlassian co-founder Scott Farquhar and Kim Jackson’s private investment fund Skip Capital.
The context: Levi will be focused on venture capital to invest across early stage startups to high-growth scale-ups within Australia, New Zealand and internationally.
Levi spent seven years in MA Financial's investment banking team.
Skip Capital has invested in startups such as Canva, Safety Culture, Airwallex, Figma, 1Password, Neara and Lorikeet.
What they said: “My experiences working closely with founder-led technology businesses shaped how I think about long-term partnership and what I look for in an investing platform,” Levi said.
“They also reinforced my desire to stay close to founders as companies evolve, rather than engaging at a single point in time. That mindset ultimately led me to venture investing, and to Skip Capital.”
