Investible appoints Charlie Ill as new CEO

The news: Venture capital firm Investible has promoted its chief investment officer Charlie Ill as its new chief executive, succeeding Rod Bristow.

The context: Ill has been CIO for the past two years and has over a decade of experience in venture capital. Investible said his appointment marked the next chapter in its mission to “connect innovative companies with the capital, expertise, and networks needed to scale globally”.

Bristow held the CEO position for nearly four years.

What they said: Investible chair and co-founder Trevor Folsom said: “Charlie has been instrumental in driving the success of our investment strategy and deeply understands what it takes to excel in this competitive market”.

"His leadership, insight, and extensive venture capital experience make him the ideal choice to guide Investible forward. We’re excited about the opportunities that lie ahead under Charlie’s stewardship," he said.
