Neuren Pharmaceuticals' Daybue sales to reach $1b in 2028
The news: Biotech company Neuren Pharmaceuticals has said projected global sales of its Rett syndrome treatment Daybue are set to reach approximately USD700 million ($1 billion) in 2028.
Shares had risen 5.86% to $20.43 per share at 11:23am AEDT.
The context: The company's projected sales growth is driven by the rollout of 'DAYBUE STIX' in December 2025, which could potentially enable patient growth from families who discontinued the liquid formulation, continued benefits from the second quarter of 2025 expansion of US customer-facing teams, as well as international expansion assuming approval in Europe.
Since Daybue's launch in the US in 2023, more than 2,000 Rett syndrome patients have been treated with Daybue, representing a 55% increase year-on-year.
Outside the US, Neuren Pharmaceutical's partner, Arcadia Pharmaceutical, has announced the approval of Daybue oral solution by Israel's Ministry of Health.
The announcement follows Neuren Pharmaceuticals reporting a 24% rise in quarterly royalties from Daybue in November 2025.
