Ramsay Health Care appoints ex-Santos exec Anthony Neilson as CFO

The news: Private hospital operator Ramsay Health Care has appointed former Santos executive Anthony Neilson as its new chief financial officer, starting 24 November.

The context: Neilson served as Santos CFO for five years, then later as chief commercial officer for three years. He also served as CEO and CFO of formerly ASX-listed oil and gas producer Roc Oil.

Neilson will replace Martyn Roberts, who left Ramsay in April after five years at the company. Deputy CFO Mike Hirner has been serving as interim CFO since then.
