The news: Web Travel Group CFO Tony Ristevski has withdrawn his resignation and will no longer join electronic conveyancer PEXA as its CFO, which the B2B accommodation inventory business’ managing director said is to look out for its “best interests”.
The context: Web Travel Group previously announced in November 2025 that Ristevski would step down in May 2026 to “pursue another opportunity”.
In February, Web Travel Group told the market that its Spanish operations were being audited by the Spanish Tax Agency’s Special Delegation of the Balearic Islands.
PEXA said Liz Warrell, who was appointed on 1 August 2025, will remain as the acting group CFO until a successor is appointed.
What they said: “Continuity and deep institutional knowledge are important as we execute our growth strategy. Both the Board and Tony agree it is in the Company’s best interests for him to remain in the role,” Web Travel Group managing director John Guscic said.
Ristevski said: “After further discussions with John and the Board about the Company’s future plans and my role in supporting them, I have decided to continue as chief financial officer. I look forward to continuing to support the Company’s strategy and long-term growth.”
