Firmus has been busy updating its website.
In the last few days, the AI infrastructure company has published two new community hub pages in a bid to win over residents near its proposed facilities in Tasmania and South Australia.
But as co-founders and co-CEOs Oliver Curtis and Tim Rosenfield supposedly enter a new era of transparency after months of opaque dealings, they may have just overshared.
The ABC reported on Tuesday that Firmus “inadvertently published” an “internal” note as part of its latest round of website updates, revealing plans to use farm irrigation water for its proposed site at Wesley Vale in Tasmania.
A spokesperson for state-owned Tasmanian Irrigation said it had given “no undertaking” to the company. Firmus told the ABC it had not yet lodged a formal request with the water utility.
