New polling shows female voters have serious problems with Anthony Albanese, with his support among women plunging by about a third since October.
While Labor’s primary vote sits at 27%, according to the latest Capital Brief/DemosAU poll, the prime minister attracted support of 32% of male voters, but just 21% of women.
Identical polling conducted in October found Albanese’s overall support at 33%, with the gender support evenly split at 33% of men and 33% of women.
DemosAU head of research George Hasanakos said Labor had been losing support among women for the past six months, with most of that support shifting to One Nation.
