With his intention to lead the first company to build and launch a rocket out of Australia, it is hard not to draw parallels between Adam Gilmour and SpaceX founder Elon Musk.
Not only would Gilmour, founder of Gilmour Space Technologies, like to replicate Musk’s success in orbit, he we would also like to see someone replicate Musk’s upcoming attempt to slash government bloat.
“I strongly believe we need to do something like that in Australia,” Gilmour said of the Department of Government Efficiency, the Musk-run Trump administration initiative that hopes to cut down America’s civil service dramatically.
“There are clearly things that our government can do to improve efficiency and accountability,” he told Capital Brief ahead of Donald Trump's return to the White House this week.
