'I'm in shock': StrongRoom AI investor blasts EVP for calling the cops
One of the first investors in StrongRoom AI says the Sydney venture firm did not notify other shareholders before it called police to investigate the startup.
An early investor in StrongRoom AI has accused Sydney venture capital EVP of failing to notify other shareholders before it made the extraordinary decision to call police in to investigate the medtech startup earlier this week.
UK-based Tyson & Blake invested in StrongRoom AI in 2021. Board director Aaron Michelin told Capital Brief EVP’s conduct was “unprofessional” and that it has “defamed” the medtech startup.
“If you make an investment, and we approve you as a big common investor, we assume you are professional and you’ve done your homework,” Michelin said. “And then you defame the company? Whatever happens from here, the damage will be there.”
