The final piece of the inflation puzzle will be released this week ahead of the Reserve Bank's November interest rate meeting. It will quickly determine whether a rate cut is still on the cards.

Here’s what you need to know about the key economic data releases this week.

The data: Consumer Price Index September quarter, Monthly Consumer Price Indicator September, Australian Bureau of Statistics

Note: This is the final release of the monthly indicator with the ABS switching to a full monthly inflation print from November.
