National accounts

The data: Australian National Accounts: National Income, Expenditure and Product, June 2025, Australian Bureau of Statistics

When: Wednesday 3 September 2025

What to expect: GDP increased 0.2% over the first quarter of 2025 and per capita GDP went backwards. Broadly, economists are expecting a lacklustre result in the second quarter with a consensus expectation of 0.5% growth.
