The co-founders of AI security startup Redactive have launched a new venture, Quarterzip, aimed at improving companies' onboarding processes through the use of an AI agent.

The move comes a week after the trio confirmed the sale of Redactive to data management company RecordPoint, first reported by Capital Brief.

Proceeds from the sale, which were not disclosed, plus the capital from Redactive's $11.5 million seed round, will be carried over into the new business.

Redactive’s backers — Sydney VC Blackbird Ventures, US software company Zapier, early Canva investor Felicis Ventures and Atlassian’s venture arm — are all investing in the new venture.
