3D product design startup Fabra lands $2.8m pre-seed raise
The news: 3D product design startup Fabra has raised $2.8 million in a pre-seed funding round, with investment from January Capital, Side Stage Ventures, Concept Ventures and LFX Digital.
The context: Founded in 2023 by Luke Grana, Gloria Yu and former Canva engineer Nick Manks, Fabra aims to democratise 3D product design with an intuitive and beginner-friendly platform.
The Sydney-based startup has also today announced the launch of its public beta. The web-based platform brings high-fidelity 3D design into one intuitive platform to easily design manufacturer-ready products online.
Fabra said it is preparing for general availability in early 2026 with expanded capabilities and categories. The startup will also open its seed round to further accelerate its product development.
What they said: “For too long, product design has been locked behind complex software and steep learning curves, only accessible to trained professionals,” said Luke Grana, co-founder and CEO at Fabra.
“With new web-based 3D technology, fast GPUs, and cloud rendering, designing physical products in the browser is no longer futuristic. At Fabra, we’re building the platform to make it possible.“
